The 3M Scotch-Weld Low Odour Acrylic Adhesive DP810 is a heavy-duty two-component acrylic adhesive that cures at room temperature and is specially formulated for bonding slightly greasy metals, plastics and other surfaces. Because 3M Scotch-Weld DP810 Acrylic Adhesive is low-odour and non-flammable, it contributes to a safer working environment than with conventional acrylic adhesives.

When using adhesive in a Duo-Pak (DP), consider 3M dispensing equipment as a convenient tool to accurately measure, mix and dispense adhesive. Offers high shear and peel strength and is heavy-duty for impact resistance This unique acrylic adhesive has high shear and peel strength and good impact resistance, for durability suitable for demanding end-use applications. Work safer, faster and more efficiently: these are just some of the benefits of our 3M Scotch-Weld Low Odour acrylic adhesive DP810. The adhesive adheres to various substrates, ranging from metals and composites to many plastics and even nylon. The acrylic glue cures to a brown or black colour. Recommended applications Sports equipment (bonding metal to metal, metal to plastic) Manufacturing of white goods (metal to metal, metal to glass) Assembly of electronics housings Processing time of 10 minutes and processing strength within 20 minutes With a mixing ratio of 1:1, the 3M Scotch-Weld Low Odour acrylic adhesive DP810 offers a processing time of 10 minutes, giving you time to position parts before the adhesive cures. The adhesive reaches processing strength within about 20 minutes and is fully cured within 8-24 hours (at 22 °C / 72 °F). (Note: excessive adhesive exposed to air around the bond lines can remain tacky for up to 48 hours). 3M Scotch-Weld Low Odour Acrylic Adhesive DP810 is approved in accordance with UL 746C regarding the use of polymeric materials in electrical equipment. Easy bonding with acrylic Acrylic adhesives, often referred to as epoxy adhesives, are two-component adhesives that offer excellent bond strength and durability, although in some cases adhesion may be slightly lower than with traditional two-component epoxy adhesives. However, acrylic adhesives have several properties that make them easier to use, for example a much shorter curing time, a higher tolerance for greasy or unprepared bonding surfaces and the ability to bond numerous different materials, including virtually all plastics. Newer acrylic adhesive formulations are stable at room temperature and have a medium shelf life.
